Literacy Coaches, Kristin Kariainen, Shelly Trier, Sara Sivula, and Ashley Karkkainen took OER SOLID Start Curriculum from MSU and transformed it into practical content for K-2 grade instructors! SOLID stands for Science, Oral Language, and Literacy Development. SOLID Start is a 3P method to integrate Science at early in child development. This curriculum is unsupported by its initial creators; our SOLID Start team will continue to meet with educators that are interested in, or have adopted, SOLID Start curriculum throughout the 2023-2024 school year.
